Nortel CS1K 5.0 NTP stop working after upgrading to 7.5 with IPE Sig Servers

from what I experienced it needs to be setup again (or re-enabled at least in EM). i don't think the upgrade process enables NTP.

You will need to check in your Sig Server first.

SSH CLI to Sig Server and enter : ntpconfig

Enter ntp server details as appropriate, then go into CS1K:

LD 117

STAT NTP

&


PRT NTP


You should be pointing in LD 117 to your Sig Server that the NTP has been configured.

If it is not, probably easiest to go to Element Manager and setup NTP.

In 7.5 I have found that the NTP is quirky. Set your NTP settings in the Sig Servers and then go into the Call Server and set your NTP UTCOFFSET. After that it should be fine.
