7.0 upgrade

Hello,

Today upgraded a site old 8x24 to ics 7.0. The problems are:

1. The receptionists BLF dosnt work!

2.feature 987 says not allowed. I have old m7310's and think they may be to old a software release.

I believe the BLF went away with ICS. What is F987??
You can monitor stations by making them internal (F*2) buttons on the phone...unless the M7310's are release 1.

For your blf, the receptionist phone is an older version so switch it with somebody else(rules of thumbs, if whit F*7 you can change the display contrast from 1 to 9 the it should work)
for your voice mail you have to edit the class of service and permit interupt.

Thanks to all.

I did look at the class of service, I made mods to it such as password expire 0. I just didnt see anything refering to interupt! I will install a t series set and see if I can use the interupt.

What voice mail and software version are you using?

F987 is a feature that, if you just missed a call, allows you to interrupt the voice mail & break into the call.

It will say "Not Allowed", unless someone is leaving you a message.
