6X16 DR2 software abd Caller ID

I was told that caller ID would work on a 6X16 no matter what software. I have installed it on DR2 software and can not find anywhere in programming to set up caller ID. Will caller ID work on DR2 software? If not, what version of software is required?

I think you need DR5 to get the programing prompts.

I know that it worked on 6X16 DR-5. I don't see any reference to any programming for it on anything before
DR-5 for what that's worth.
You will also have to add the C-6 box to your 6X16 to bring the CLID information in.

Thanks for the replys. I have installed the C6 and will see if my customer will want to upgrade to DR5 software or cancel the request. Looks like it will be just as cheap to upgrade to a CICS (refurb) as the C6 is so expensive.

If you upgrade to a CICS you will still have to add CID trunk cards. Nortel did not make it cheap to get caller id.
