I am installing a 6940 on a Mitel 250. The phone works but I get an error saying "cannot display" What does that mean? Also, I can't get the keymap to populate on to the 6940. In the Phone Manager it does show that the keymap is assigned to the phone. Any help would be great.

I wouldn't suggest using any 6900 phones on the Mitel 250 system. I know you can, but I wouldn't suggest it at all. Not a good integration. Definitely not like the 6900 series on Mitel's other platforms.

Sometimes you just have to do what the customer wants and what the salesperson sales. I still need to try and get this fixed.

You havent mentioned the separate server application required to get this working. Do you have that set up?

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

If you are referring to the MiVoice Office Application Suite as the separate server application than yes I do. Maybe not correctly but I am following the Lab Workbook for the 69xx's. On our node we do have the controllers IP address and the proper local SIP port. One of the problems we are having with this Lab book is that in Module 3 Lab 6 it says that after you do the SIP firmware upload you are supposed to get a red screen and a setup button so that you can pin an extension to the phone. This step doesn't work on the 6940's or the 6930's.
