You could be correct Deweyhumbolt, all I know is, no more solder terminals for me, if at all possible :) what a PITA that was, plus I had to find about a dozen POTS lines and extend them to a feeder cable, they where on both sides of this ancient frame, in room, in a parking garage, in San Francisco.

Minimum Point of Entry

The point at which a carrier's network accesses a property or premise. The carrier's responsibility generally ends at this point and the customer's responsibility for the service begins. Also known as the End User Point Of Termination (EU-POT). When a customer requires that the MPOE be extended, they will need to order and be responsibile for payment for a DEMARC Extension.
