64xx on 8.1 2

Officially, the 8.1 matrix shows 64xx phones are not supported past 7. We all know what "supported" means. However, I haven't run across one of these since they went EOL in 06.
Does anyone have any 64xx sets *working* on 8 or 8.1? Customer wants to reuse a metric arseload of them because...insanity.

AACon, I just tried in our shop with 8.1.67 with a 6408d and seems to work ok, I know avaya doesn,t support it but it seems to work ok

Have 5 of them on my system without any issues but they might stop in 9.0 or beyond so make sure you clarify that to the customer

I did a multi site upgrade from 4.1-8.1 with over 250 of these phones and haven't had any issues. ATAC told me they should work fine, but there is no support for them anymore. Kirk at ATAC did set up a test scenario in their lab for me and tested with 6408's and 6416's.
