I use a Norstar 616 as a home phone system which has been trouble free until the other day when it lost power.

I've checked all the fuses: mains plug; live and neutral fuses on PSU board (F1 and F2); low voltage fuse on PSU board (F3) and all are fine but there is still no output from the PSU. It's a BT branded system (UK, 240 volts) and the PSU board is a NT7B2605.

I'm looking for a circuit diagram/schematic for the board or any information at all about replacements or substitutes. Does anyone know what the output should be, +5V +12V or what?

Any info, pointers or assistance greatly appreciated - even schematics of similar US power supplies might help me.

Thanks,
Dave.

The standard circuit of a pulse power is used. Check up diodes and transistor on an input.

Thanks for the suggestion. I realise it's a switch-mode power supply. All the diodes seem fine; none are open or short circuit. I'm still trying to find a circuit diagram but havn't found one yet.

Do you happen to know what the output voltage(s) of the PSU board should be that feeds the main PBX board?

Cheers,
Dave.
