Looking thru the manual, caller display will only show one phone. Will it work on all phones. I'm using sofware version 7.0 I have the equipment already. We have 3 incoming lines and 5 phones. Any advice to set it up correctly on the phones. Thanks

No such thing as 7.0 software on a 6X16
DR5 was the last software.

Please be sure as to what system and software you have.

MICS and CICS requires 6.1 or above for ALL sets to show, otherwise you would need to program a F811 key.

It's dr5, if I make the receptionist the prime set caller id will appear instantly, the other phones i can program a feature key 811, still everyone will have to wait at least 2 rings still and even during a tranfer also. Thanks

Only one set per line can auto display caller ID. Others must use F811 to see before answering.

Curly, I'm pretty sure the CICS can show caller ID on all sets with any software version. MICS is R6.1 or higher as you wrote.

Replacing the cabinet wouldn't be all that expensive. If you do upgrade them to a CICS running the latest software, though, be aware that you may have some minor Handsfree quirks on older M7310's.

Rik, I'd add that if this is a 616 there will most likely be some very old version sets, as you recently found out. Using a CICS with DR6.1 would be sufficient, except for the lack of the updated daylight savings schedule.

I have the CII module, I have the 66 block where the stations are punched down, can I use the other side to terminate the CII module and the 3 c.o. lines. I guess I'm using the w/bl,w/o and w/gr, then tie into an open station port. Thanks
