5610 VPN Software

I thought that 5610 vpn software would connect to the corporate network in the same way as when you use a windows VPN client to connect to your VPN.

Was I being silly?
 
It's about the same. Once configured, you should be able to connect from just about anywhere.
 
It also depends on the type of VPN you use on the router :)

OK thanks. The router is not accepting the vpn connections a windows server is authenticating users. This is using PPTP.

What im not sure of is what settings the phone needs. When I boot it up its asking what type of VPN Config I have ie. avaya gateway, cisco, juniper etc.

I dont have any... the phone is the client the server authenticates it.

Please help!
 
You need to use ipsec with group and user authentication.
pptp cannot be used at all.
You need a vpn router/application that can do what i mentioned.
