Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide:

I have an IP Office 500 inside our main office. Main office is a 192.168.1.X /255.255.255.0 with a Sonicwall 3060. The address of the 3060 / gateway is 192.168.1.1

We have a remote site with a single 5610 phone and a Sonicwall TZW. The network is 192.168.10.X with the TZW being 192.168.10.1.

I have an IP Route setup in Manager with:

Ip Address: 0.0.0.0
Ip masK: 0.0.0.0
Gateway IP: 192.168.1.1
Destination: LAN 1

The 5610 boots and can see the Manager machine on the main network, but not the IP Office. I can ping any adddress on the main network from the remote site except the IP Office. I have enabled Netbios browsing on the VPN connection.

Thanks again for your help!

What is the address of the IPOffice? Is it within the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet?

In Manager program your IP route to be

IP - 192.168.10.0
IP Mask - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.1.1
Lan 1

The IP Office is 192.168.1.202. I actually have added a route in Manager of:

IP - 192.168.10.0
IP Mask - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.1.1
Lan 1

I did not, however remove the origional route of:

Ip Address: 0.0.0.0
Ip masK: 0.0.0.0
Gateway IP: 192.168.1.1
Destination: LAN 1

Will try and let you know - thank you so much

I removed my origional route and left only:

IP - 192.168.10.0
IP Mask - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.1.1
Lan 1

Still unable to ping.

The origional route was enough, now can you ping the IPO from the local network?

If you can and you cannot ping it from the remote, but you can ping everything else then the issue may be with the IPO and could require a reboot.

I can ping the IP Office from the local network and the gateway. I will try the reboot as soon as possible. I have been pulling my hair out on this one.

Reboot seems to have worked! I will test the phone when I get to the remote site - thank you so much!
