5602 IP problem with transfer

ipo500 4.1.12 with 5620 and 5602 ip phone's

Transfer doesn't always work. Sometime's when you transfer the phone to a another one, the other person pick's up the phone and then when you hang up, your client still get's music on hold and the line is not transfered.

Any idea's?

correct procedure is
1. press transfer
2. dial extension number
3. press transfer again

the newer releases have a mind of their own unlike the older versions where you could do it that way that you just hang up the receiver.

Could it be when you have 2 calls on the ext. maybe one call on hold then a live call and you try and transfer??

With the 5620 press transfer again, doesn't work.

Hang up works 70%

???
 
That's just weird, seems worth putting in a ticket with avaya

Are the two available buttons on the 5602 programmed as CA 'Call Appearance'? This is the default programming and should be left alone. Removing the CA buttons gives all sorts of trouble on the DS and IPPhones,which is a pity while not all countries require the presence of CA buttons.
