Console app 4.2.2.13

When new extension and names are added into telephone drectory form or user and device configuartion form they don't appear in the edit BLF field option area in the console app after a restart of the console application. So that I can add to the Busy lamp field.

However if I edit an existing name in either above form and restart the console app the change is reflected through, on to the BLF as I expect it should.

Any ideas? Am I doing anything wrong.

There needs to be a busy lamp appearance on the system associated with the new extension.

Mitel SOP is to have a phantom extension(s) with DSS/BLF keys for all users.

Another method is to create the appearance directly in the Remote Busy Lamp form.
I've had issues with the direct method but I can't remember what they were

As of rel 5.0 you can program a 5340 with a dual PKM and designate it as trusted (no license used) and this will allow 144 programmable keys

Thanks, all good.

Completely forgot about remote DSS/BLF form on 3300.
