Looking for step by step instructions on using TFTPD to download an existing 5520 configuration to my desktop as a backup and to later upload to a new 5520.

thanks

Its usually just a matter of installing a TFTP server application on your machine or some device on the network, configuring the application to send/receive files then pointing the ERS to the IP of the workstation that is hosting the TFTP app. Solarwinds makes a decent free TFTP server.

Thanks for the help
Ive never done a config back up before and still having no luck with solarwind or TDTPD32. When I do get it to at least recognize the 5520 I get a error of timeout occured.

I guess what Im looking for is step step instructions with Solarwind on how to set this up on my laptop

once agin thanks for your help and patience
