550 permission denied with DW's FTP ?

Hi

This is my first post! I am, for this week!, been getting 550 permission denied when trying to upload/modify webpages!

All my FTP was thro Dreamweaver 4.0's FTP.

I checked the folder's permission thro another FTP software, knowing the files should have CHMOD of 644 and folders with 755 - I have noticed sometimes they are 233 etc and what changed them? I am fed up keep changing the permission back to 644 or 755! My ISP people says it's to do with my FTP profile?

If this is the case - where is it within DW's FTP? Why is it always having this problem?

and for your information - I think I may, maybe!, have overcome this problem, I just deleted the problem folder with it's folders and files in it, and start all over again and has not got any problems since then....
