5485 IP Paging Unit

Has anyone successfully hooked up this paging unit to any Valcom amps? Does anyone know what amps are supported?

amps? What do you mean? Valcom speakers are self-amplified. Do you mean page controllers? VP-2001 maybe. Mitel IP Page Units provide audio and thats all you need for Valcom.

Yes. What issue are you having? The only thing that does not work is the 5550 IP console can not dial a page zone via Mitel IP page unit (tone button boes not work when you do a direct page from a 5550 IP console to an IP page unit). Mitel does not care about that problem and rejected a DCR. If you don't have a 5550 IP console, you are golden.
