I don't have much hope that this is actually possible, but I'll give it a go!!!

Backstory is that in one of our departments, there are a couple of staff members that tend to log into their PCs, but not their phones at least not for 15-20 minutes on some occasions, despite disciplinary action. (It's a call centre type department, so their primary job is to be on the phone)

The staff in question are good at their job, and they'd prefer not to have to get rid of them, so is there a way for their phone (we have 5410s, and we're running v5 software) to be logged in for them at a particular time - I know I can lock a particular handset to an extension number like we have in our meeting room, but they do sometimes hotdesk, so I'd rather not do that unless its my only option.

Before I forget, I know I could disable the auto logoff I've setup which might work, unless they log off manually, but was more thinking could something be done from their PC to log them on to the phone as the PC logs onto the network.

All creative ideas accepted!! :)

unless using ccc/ccr for reporting why bother logging off (i notice they don't forget to do that)?

Phone Manager Pro Agent mode should do this (or at least give some sort of indication as they log onto the PC)

alternativly perhaps adding a small batch file to their startup to display an on screen reminder?
