5324 Faint Beep in Background

Hi All,

I have an issue with an extension where the user can hear a beep beep every 20s but I can't track down to why this is happening?
The phone is a 5324 with a PKM attached and in the same COS as all the other users but the other users don't hear the beep beep, the phone is not resilient on another MCD.

I am missing something probably obvious anyone come across this before?

The software is MCD4.0SP1 CX Controller

Forgot to mention that this happens on internal and external calls.

By chance is the user using a headset? Headsets will beep to indicate low battery.

Always look out for the next guy because it may be you!

The user is not using a headset hanset only.

Resolved by swapping out the phone no idea why but the beeping has disappeared.

The beep was definitely there I did toy with the idea of telling the user they must be imagining it...
But I suspect the NSA got bored and stopped listening
