Has anyone tried a plantroincs headset on a 5220 with the HL10 automatic lifter? Does it work ok?

sometimes;

Sometimes the lifter fell off, sometimes it lifted, but did not put the handset back. The situation is improved by using the 5220 in its upper set of base mounting holes (so that it is nearly horizontal) but sometimes this can make the display difficult to read.

would I recommend one.............

Sometimes - after all it kept the receptionist amused!!!!

Have a look at the new Mitel cordless kit for the 5330 mand 5340, looks pretty good! Headset integrated into the phones with no need for a lifter. Can answer and hang up a call from the headset

I have a cordless kit on order to test it out. Have received the handset. Very good range, but heavy and has caused the phone to reset twice. I think it is related to static.

let us know how you get on with testing. I'm sure Mitel will sort any niggly bits out quite quickly cause i thing the concept is really good and that they'll sell quite a few!
