51 has filters that need to be cleaned monthly.

not in a load, your sys mon light will light if the filter blocks totally..you can do a ld 48 stat xsm..to see the status of your sys mon.. i do check and/or clean filters on my 81 monthly.. front of switch 2 screws in the small bottom panel, the filter slides out without removing the fan cage.
