Hi Guys, this customer has got a 5000 in London and a 3300 in Madrid, which are linked together using SIP Trunking.
Extensions from the two systems can call each other successfully and audio is good both ways.
3300 is a CXi MCD6.0 SP2. however, I don't have much information about the 5000 as this equipment is serviced by another dealer in the UK, and I have no experience wahtsoever on the 5000 either.
The problem I have is when users in Madrid try to call numbers in the UK. The idea is to send the call to London (to the 5000) and use one of their local TDM Trunks to avoid long distance charges from Madrid.
The question is, is the 5000 similar to the 3300 in terms of having ARS programming with leading digits, digit mods, etc?
Currently Madrid users are dialling 9 00 44 208 123 4567 and the 3300 is absorbing 5 digits and inserting 90 so the string is sent to the UK as 902081234567. When doing this I get invalid dialling on the 3300.
Do they have to do any programming on the 5000 to allow this?
I have done exactly the same with two 3300s (Madrid and Hong Kong) using SIP and it's working great.
Any comments about this and the 5000?
Regards,
Daniel
