500 set. 3

Have set up a voice mail for a 500 set and when no-one answers the call is "diverted" to the mailbox.
However the "message waiting" lamp does not work nor is there a broken tone to indicate message waiting.

I have included CLS LPA & MWA and have tried a new telephone without sucess.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you using a message waiting line card? I know that might be a little basic but I do believe there are analog cards that don't provide the option of lighting a message waiting lamp.

What is the Part number of the Analog card?

ie: NT8D09BA

the faceplate of the card will say m/wlc if it can light a lamp.. the lpa cls turns off stutter tone and turns on the lamp
