500 internal server error

hi,

i am getting this error..

500 internal server error

wat could be the reason..

i am trying connect to asp form page(normally it takes long time to load)......

this happens some time...not always...

could anybody find out..y it happens some time....

In your browser click Tools, Internet Options, goto Advanced tab, scroll down and deselect 'Show Friendly HTTP Error Messages', click OK
Then run the page again

hi,

some reason..now it is loading properly....but it is very very slow...to load that page it takes more than a minute...
it is really lengthy form ..in fact it is very lenghty....

i dont understand y it is loading so slowly...

u have any ideas to make it faster..cud tips..if it is damn slow

Well, knowing absolutely nothing about your page or what it is attempting to do, you could:
1) Read the multitude of threads and FAQs on this subject that have been posted over the past several years - they have info from making Database work more efficienctto general efficiency tips
2) Buy a faster processor for your server
3) Buy more RAM for your server
4) Drop your server in a tank of liquid nitrogen
5) Add "Response.End" to the top of your ASP page
6) Delete all letters, numbers, and characters from your ASP file, save, reload

For the record, any dam,age you do in the process of following steps 2-6 is not my fault, they weren't entirely serious.

I have gotten this error when i put an asp page on the server and have an include file in the ASP page and forgotten to put the include file on the server as well.
