5.2.17 Manager Cannot Pull Config on V2.1(27)

Just spoke with distributor support, suggested "downgrade" manager application, then upgrade IP Office, then "upgrade" manager application. Why would Manager 5.2.17 not be backward compatible to 2.1(27) IP Office? Why doesn't the 3.2 software cd not contain 3.1 .bin files?

I think there was problem with TFTP requests getting blocked up, system not releasing TFTP sessions, with an early release of 2.1. Can't remember if it was 2.1(24) or (27). You might have to do this via the DTE port if you cant get the IPO to respond to TFTP's.

Each Admin disc only conains the bin files for that release. 3.2 Manager is compatible to program earlier releases but I would still use the correct Manager Upgrade Wizard to upgrade systems.

Inspiron 1150 laptop, Dell. We have upgraded already to 3.1 and are moving ahead...I sure appreciate your input, and I will try this on the next one.
