4XX to 500 module compatability

Dual PRI T1 card and 32 VCM card from a 406V2.

Looks like the 500 has a legacy adapter - but only 1 can fit.
So only one of these would transfer to a 500 platform right

The Legacy Card Carrier only takes one legacy card but you can have up to 2 (two) Legacy Card Carriers in a system.

thx. Is the onboard memory the same as the 406V2 as opposed to the current 500V2 ?
Already have a 406V2 with both modules and am debating whether to go 500V2 or not.
The 406V2 is not in production at this moment......and

The memonry of a 500v2 is much bigger then the 406.

There are some features that will not work through cards on carriers. Check what features you want out of the upgrade are not effected by this.

On the VCM module in particular, is there a difference in voice-sound quality on the newer V2 400 modules (25ms) as opposed to the newer VCM modules for the 500 ?

The vcm 5,10, 20 and 30 have less echo cancelation then the 4, 8, 16 and 24 or the vcm 32 and 64.
