Hi all
I've an old norstar 4x16 and I've a star talk mini. the 4x16 is working fine. Problem is i want to connect the startalk mini to the 4x16 (i think its a RJ11 on the Startalk mini) can anyone advise how this is wired?.

Secondly I want to do tyhe following senario. Upon an incoming call - answer the call and immediately put on hold for 20 seconds then route to voicemail or call answering tree. Is this possible ?
Oh and does anyone know where i could get a spare startalk mini power supply! I'm in the UK!.

You might hasve guessed from the post i'm a newbie to this
:))

Many thanks in advance!

Do you know what software version this is? My information says that it needs to be DR2 for a Mini to work. The 4X16's that I worked on were all DR1. The RJ11 would plug into a station port.

The Mini can answer the call but it will not put it on hold for 20 sec. The AA will answer and give the message for the caller to do something, dial ext, use directory etc. What is the reason for the 20 sec hold?

Some one out there will have a source for the power supply for you.

Hi there

Yes theres an RJ11 port on the mini I guess the other end of this is just wire stripped and inserted into one of the ports?

The 20sec delay was to play 20sec of on hold music.

Station port referes to one of the 16internal ports or one of the 4 incoming? thanks
