4mm tape drive problem

Our 43p's use the IBM 7206 005 (4mm) tape drive. Having a hardware problem, tape won't eject and one of the LED's is flashing amber. Know where I can get some technical data on this tape drive in order to troubleshoot it?

Some commands that may reset the error condition
( flashing light )

1) diag -c -d rmtX

OR

2) tctl -f /dev/rmtX reset

... followed by

tctl -f /dev/rmtX offline
