Does the line cord that connects the klm to the M7324 have to be a 6 cond?? Should it work with a 4 cond?

From the CAP to the M7324 you only need 2 conductor. From the wall to the CAP you need 4 or 6 conductors depending on the number of CAP's you have.

only using 1 cap/klm {48 button}. You're saying no 6 cond line coed is needed anywhere? I'm rying to figure out how to wire the pwr supply also. Theres 4 terminals, spare, minus, plus, spare

YOU NEED A 6 COND. FROM YOUR WALL JACK TO KLM AND A 2 OR 4
FROM KLM TO 7324. JUST USE PLUS AND MINUS ON THE PWR.

ok, plus and minus, but where do they go? plus to what/where minus to what/where?

Didnt you get a wiring guide along with the SAPS?

if there is a 2 pair - the phone works on one pair
that leaves only one more pair for the power supply

On the older nortel systems the power for the cap went on the green pair of the jack, so you do need a 6 cond from the wall to the cap and then you can use a 2 cond to the phone.

The set goes on the b/w pair o/w pair is power for the first cap and g/w pair is power for the second cap . The power is tied down negative on ring side (Orange or Green) and positve is on the tip side (white orange or white green)
