46xx.txt settings file

I've been looking into some of the issues I've had with my new IP Office on-prem system. One thing I noticed is that in my 46xx settings file, I keep seeing a reference to:

SET BRURI "

http://10.80.0.5:80/user/backuprestore/"

When I brose to that URL, I simply get "/system/ or /user/ URI Not Registered"

So if I comment out these lines on my 46xx file, things seem to work much better. I don't want to ***** anything up but I am curious what that SET BRURI line is supposed to be - should I be able to browse to it?

My phone vendor says to not touch the 46xx file but I see a lot of people tweaking it online. Looking for some background on this. Phones are 9608's and a link to my previous post is here:

You say it works much better without that setting but you donät mention what's not working.

That setting tells the phone where to save/get the backup of the phone settings.

my apologies but I seem to be a little lazy or maybe call it rude
But
I don't want to visit some other forums you posted in already to explain and troubleshoot. Just to read a smart answer when someone actually cares enough ask details on your incomplete thread.
I just ignore those and go by my business and make money with work.
But there are many much nicer people here that may be able to help you with this.

I tend not to follow links out of not wanting to have to read the URL and assess whether its a URL I want to follow, is probably safe to follow.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

So if I comment out these lines on my 46xx file, my phones don't lock up and I don't see any retrieval failed errors. I don't want to mess anything up but I am curious what that SET BRURI line is supposed to be - should I be able to browse to it?

I've since commented this line out and rebooted all my phones. Everything is working fine but I'm curious why random phones would have issues handling the backup/restore. Where are these http settings on the server?
