4630 SW IP

Hi - I have just purchased a 4630 SW IP phone. We normally use 4620's but we have a guy going blind and he can't see the screen properly!

I am using an Avaya Power Distribution unit (1152A1). It booted up ok to start with and I was able to press * to program and changed the vlan ID.

Now the phone just has a blank screen! After rebooting this it displays the booting up screen then goes blank!

Any suggestions? - Do 4630's work ok with the PDU's?

I had that happened to me once and avaya had to replace the telephone.

Check out this power supply options for the 4600 phones. The 11521A isn't compatible with the 4630 and you probably smoked the main board on that phone.
