Guys
I have a number of 4621sw phone from a closed down site. however I cannot reconfigure these phone settings as they all have got static IPs. and the program option on start up has been disabled. (why i dont know)
Is there anyway to clear the lock down and static ip setting without knowing the current ip settings.

They will not log into the Call server so i cannot use tftp or the mute CLEAR#

any ideas

Keep the star pressed and then power up the phone
Sometimes this works

Thanks
But it not work. Is there a reset factory default button(or jumper) somewhere.

if not any other sugestions?

Boot up the phone and wait for a while
It probably comes up with "discover"

After a while you should be able to press star and you should be able to reconfigure it

A second option is sending the 46xxsettings.txt file to the phone but then you need to know what the file server ipadres is and give your pc that ipadres

TheTaker
hold clear does not work either.

the mute ....# commands only work when the phone has a extension logged in.

tlpeter
the * program button has been disabled. and i just get BAD router when booting.
I need to clear the Static IP address settings. but do not know what they are. Hope you like a puzzle.

Thank for trying though guys.

Also when you see bad router you need to wait a bit and then press the star

It can take a couple of minutes (i don't know exactly)

Try to use wireshark or something simular to find out the ipadres of the phone and the callserver and setup an ipoffice with those settings

Are those Phones from the One-X series, there should be a sticker on the back?
