Hi i have several 4620s conected to Ip office and they all seem to be dialing before the number when you hit call from the log i.e. try to return a missed call.

I have spoken to our "expert" and he is completly lost although he is conviced that it is the programing in the phone that is wrong. Can someone please confirm that this assumption is correct and if so where is the setting because i can't find it anywhere.

Cheers,

Hugh

Change this in your 46xxsettings.txt on your tftp server

## Outside line access code
## The number you press to make an outside call.
## example:
SET PHNOL

By default the #SET PHNOL 9 line is commented out with a # in front of it.

Guess what, when the phone doesn't recive a SET PHNOL line because its commented out they go and assume that you must want them to go and use a 9 - dumb design or what.

So you need to change that line to SET PHNOL "" just to persaude the phone that its attached to a phone system and that its the phone systems job to add/remove digits.

ps. You'll need to power off/on the phones while Manager is running so that they check the 46xxsetting file for changes.
