4620 Discover Error

[98Converter]

I'm receiving a Discover 10.10.19.15 error on my 4620 when it restarts... Any ideas? The above address is my CLAN board that I connect to. I use this same board for ASA for instance.

Is this the wrong config?

are you using DHCP or entering all of the IP info into the phone?

if using DHCP, check option 176 settings to make sure your settings are correct. Normally if I get theis problem, i assign static IP address and make sure the phone logs on properly. Then do a hard reset and see if the DHCP takes control and connects.

We're using DHCP. I'll take a further look into the configs tomorrow.

Make sure you set .1Q to the correct setting for your switchport. If you don't use it on your switch put this option to "no".
