4610SW VPN Phone?

I am trying to connect a 4610 SW over the internet to a sonicwall firewall. The phone exchanges the PSK and starts buliding the IPSec tunnel and fails at that point. It comes back and says IKE Phase2 no Respone? Any feedback will be more than appreciated.

I didnt know Avaya was supporting VPN hardphones with a Sonic Firewall.

The only known devices I know that are supported are,

Cisco PIX
Cisco VPN Concentrator
Juniper SSG
Checkpoint
Nortel
Avaya SG208 (which is no longer made)

Also which version of VPNremote firmware are you using? Are you using the 2.0 or 2.1. I have been having some issues with 2.1 connecting to my Cisco VPN concentrator. The setup on the new firmware is completely different. My 2.0 phone works just fine.

I am not sure if sonicwall is supported either? I was trying you use the generic profile to accomplish this. It is also using the latest firmware.

Sonicwall is not supported.

If you are trying to use the generic profile and it still wont connect then you will probably have to just keep changing settings on your firewalls and try and match them with the phone.

I dont like the new firmware its getting on my nerves and there is no documentation to support it. Typical Avaya crap!

Just a follow up but after playing with it for a while I finally got the new firmware to work. Solid and stable now.
