4610SW IP phones - Blank screen

Hi anyone help out there or point in the right direction.

Sequence of events
4620swip - has a blank screen.
disconnect connection to network.
Reconnect.
Station reboots and I see the boot sequence on the screen
eventually the phone finishes boot up
Finally just a blank screen

I've tried a reboot then re-programming - checked against details of other stations and all the same. Similar end result - blank screen

Do you have a modified 46xxsettings.txt file ?
How long do you wait before you reboot the phone
I have seen some phones with modified text files with a blank screen but afterabout 30 seconds it came back up
