I'm not real familiar with the 450T...

But I have a couple, and one wants to boot off the network (bootP) I assume with code load facilty 1.47 when its powered on. Wants IP address, server address, filename, etc... I dont' have a server setup for it to boot off of, how do I reset it and make it boot local. It resets when it fails to find a server...does that mean it doesn't have software loaded on it??

just got it to boot off the network...problem solved... But I'd still be interested if there was a way to reset it just in case a tftp server wasn't available...

The first option in the "IP Configuration Menu" is for BootP. Use the space bar to select BootP Disabled and hit enter. This should do it.

Problem was that the switch wouldn't boot up, only wanted to boot off the network, couldn't get to an IP config menu to change it....had to setup a tftp server, boot up, then change it...
