425-24 T 26.th port not active

I puchased Nortel 425-24T. 26th port is not active. How can i make it active?

From main menu,
-Switch Configuration
-Port Configuration
CTRL-N til you see port 26
Toggle with space bar to {Enable}

This could also be because the stacking interface is enabled - in that case it might be missing from the interface list. If that's the case:
From the main menu select the Command Line Interface... option
Type enable
Type config
Type stacking-mode disable
Type exit twice to get back to the main menu
From the menu select the reset... option

Once it has rebooted use HungryHouse's instructions to verify the port is available.
