I am working on getting a SIP extension working on an IP Office version 5.0. This is the data I am getting. Any ideas? Thank you!

R 5.0 was the first release with SIP extensions and a lot has improved since then. It might be that you are just not able to set certain parameters that you would need.

What device is it that you want to connect to the IPO and do you have a license for it?

Don't forget on the SIP device the username is the extension number, not the name in the IP Office :)

Indeed, extension and password what is needed.
If one of those two is wrong than you get a 403.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

And that is exactly what I normally use, however when using the extension number as the username and password, I get an error in monitor saying user not found, even though it is clearly there.

Isn't there a 3rd option like username, authentication and password?
In that case the authentication is the extension number ( i think)

You got it. The app that this person was using to test has username, password, and auth ID. I will have him put the extension there and flip flop them if it does not work.

Thanks Peter.

Peter,

I got the app working thanks to your help today. The username was the extension, password was the login code, and the "Auth Username" (in the case of this app) was the username.

You are welcome :)
