403 DT upgrade

We are not using any digital phones, so does it matter if I upgrade my IP403 to any of the Version 3 builds.

Did a few tests myself with a 403dt and version 3

1) Lots of noise over conferencing, voice recording etc

2) Headset mode on dt handsets causes phone not to ring just flash

Interesting, my tests on a Soe DT do not have any problems with conferencing or recording V3.0(44).
I have also used a headset without problems

Trying to programm a dss key from the handset results in the incorrect key being programmed.

Headset setup, handpiece off the hook and press the answer release key. Phone does not ring anymore, the calls is there but no ring. We used phone manager and play sounds to get around this on our in house system.

I think the conferencing problem is a part hardware software issue. Changed to a 403ds and dt16 and all is good with the same satebase and software level.

Dont bother setting the phone to "off Hook Extn" it is not needed with 2030 handsets.
but Do Not use V3.0 on a customer site with DT's unmless you want a whole heap of trouble because you will be on your own when you have problems.

True but its always fun to play on your own system

Index look ups on version 3 with 20 series handsets is a hell of a lot quicker than any previous versions

yeah, looks like they did a lot of work with the DT handsets during trials before pulling the Plug (at V3.0(38) if i remember correctly)

The release notes for V3.0(43) are ammusing as well, They refer to a fix for DSS keys on 20CC handsets!

my 20cc's don't ring at all. Do you have a na16dt.bin later than 5.0(24) ? which is what i'm mucking around with now
