I am still having this problem. I have learned quite a bit more about how the call manager works but I still do not have a solution as to why I do not have 4 digit dialing between remote locations. I am using the SIP SCCP profile on these phones. I am using Cisco Call Manager version 8.0.3. I have also drawn a diagram showing the problem I am having.
I was told by another individual that the VPN between the locations may be causing the half duplex calling problem but it is a standard BOVPN through WatchGuard. I don't understand how this would be causing a half duplex problem.

With most IP telephony solutions once the call is setup, the media (ie Audio) bypasses the phone systems and travel directly between the two endpoints.

For this to work the network needs to know how to route between the two end points. If you have a NAT configuration then you will need to configure the router or firewall to be able to pass the traffic to the right endpoints.

One way speech often suggests one side cant route to the other.
