Hi

Has anyone taken
"ACT00992AEN IP Office Release 4.2 Technical Delta" ?

It has 30 questions and I failed on 2 questions and that made me fail the test ?!
Does anyone know if you only will pass if you have no faults ?

exactly the same.

screwed up 2 T3 questions and failed.....

Same sh*t like the 4.1 exam
At the end i did not pass but did because Avaya made it like that

Did any one liked the way the course is build ?
I stopt after 5 minutes with a headache

OK, I am suspecting one thing and that is when you start the test, it says it contains 60 questions, but there is only 30.
And if they think it is 60 questions, then it will be extremely hard to pass the test :)
Usually they demand 80 or 85 % correct answers.

75 % most of the time

I have not taken the course, I am just trained in real life and Tech Bulls and Knowledgebase.
I do not have the patience to take these courses.

I agree, but that will not help me in this case. There is something wrong with the test. You should pass with just 2 errors.

And I do not care for the T3 phones one bit.

Anyway, thanks for your help TomMills, I will try and contact Avaya University and explain the problem.

Me neither, I think they only sell them in Germany and if that is true, then there is no reason asking questions about them on the test.

i agree.
there was also something about impedance on alog lines which only applies to North America.

why do i need to know that?

They are not region specific which is pathetic,For ACA I had questions about split 50 blocks (American DP's)which despite their name do not hold 50 pairs of wires which is what I guesed at, I'm UK based so why should I have to learn all their cabling lingo and equipment...I bet they don't know ours!

i think it saves avaya time creating loads of different exams, so they can spend more time making sure all the features work before they are released

oh....

FYI - I have now reported this to Avaya University and they knew that there was some problem with this test.

Why didn't they take it off then? or at least mention it when you took the test.....God,they wind me up the lazy sods.

so are we all going to be able to take a real test soon then?

I guess that when they have fixed the issue, automatically the status will be changed from failed to passed if you have taken the test and have only had a few errors.
Because right now you must have 100 % correct answers and if it is like a suspect - that they think it is 60 questions but there is only 30 questions - then it will be hard to even reach 100 % coorect answers.
