IP500 4.2.14 to 4.2.20 worked fine for me over my VPN first try

Jamie, as others have said 7 is pretty good, I never really tested the XP compatability, you need to watch what you're doing with it I think tlpeter buggered up a 500 using 7 with Manager

Indeed, i needed to default it !
So try a spare unit and play with it for a couple of days
Everything was fine except the BRI lines
one ISDN2 could only make one call and after a reboot antoher one
Incoming was fine
