Hi

Just installed TAPI on a Windows Server.
Tested in First Party mode with Windows dialer.exe. All OK.

Then switched to 3rd Party and entered the system password.
Dialer doesn't show any errors but the dialog to select the line is just grayed out with nothing in the dropdown to select.

System password is known, we even re-entered it in security.
License is available.
In security, TAPI/DevLink3 and DEvLink is enabled.

Any idea?

Just stating the obvious, but did you restart the server after you changed the type? There is the option to restart the telephony service but I always find the restart works 100%. Assuming you did reboot, you can view the reason why it is not connecting in a Monitor log. This will show invalid password for example. From memory there should be a 'TAPI Events' option - you may need to 'System - Enable Development Tracing' before being given that option.

Yes, server was rebootet.

It was the password.
However the password was changed before and entered with copy/paste into IPO and the TAPI setting.

Turned out, WebManager has an issue when changing System Password.
After doing the saem via Manager, it worked instantly!

License is present, yes.
And it is working now.

What confused me, was dialer.exe didn't throw any error. Just the empty/grayed out dropdowns.
Usually, if something is wrong, you get errors.

But the problem here was, system password was set using WebManager. But there is a known issue with this.
