I have a UX5000 with 3rd party SIP devices - entry doorphones.
The doorphones in question are offsite, registering directly to the primary system via VPNs to the main cabinet.
( Side note - The customer also uses Cygnilink between cabinets.)

The doorphones dial an internal extension OK, using its internal speed dial when button is pushed. Bothway audio is ok.
But when the multibutton phone user that is called, tries to dial the digit to actuate the local doorstrike - customer believes it is a digit '1' - nothing happens. Third party SIP provider believes it is a NEC UX5000 system DTMF delivery issue.

Changed DTMF delivery for SIP phone in 84-19-32 to "RFC2833" from "disabled" and reset cabinet. No effect. This was a best guess anyway; is there anything else I should look at ?

Thanks in advance for your attention !

P.S. in my mind, we have done what we can with IP DTMF delivery if the device is able to use its internal speed dial to call a telephone. I have tried simply setting the 15-03-02 to "special" and am waiting for customer to test.

have you tried having the unit call a single line phone and see if you can press 1 to activate this would determine if the NEC phones are an issue or if we need to look at something else
