I'm trying to track login attempts on windows 2000 server.
I am currently doing so via security policies, which give me some visability in event veiwer, under security monitor.

The way it is noiw, this really doesn't seem to capture much auditable, understandable data. What i really need to be able to do is the the exact time someone logs on, and logs off.

Are there other applications (3rd party or otherwise) which would give me visability to this sort of information?

Hey.

I have the same sort of problem! Its not crucial, but those Event View Security logs are NASTY!

I'm afraid I don't know of any, but I'll have a look on the net shortly. Keep it posted! - Nice question, why no other replies?! Steve Hewitt
