Hi I am looking for help on Share Point's usage of 3rd party ICONS, on the Search Engine feature

I.e. I want to be able to display ADOBE PDF icon files
(instead of excel, word, ppt etc,,,) on the list, results display for easy look up

Want to know if it's possible and if it' so, how to get it done?

Thanks in advance

First get a adobe gif 16x16 pixels. open notepad, open Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extentions\50\Templates\1033\xml open DOCION.XML (view all files in drop down box) Goto the ByExtention section, and add the line <Mapping Key="pdf" Value="adobe.gif"/> save and close. In your Image directory, add the "adobe".gif (or what ever you named it) Restart server. Hope that helped.

By the way, the best place to get the adobe (or any other image)gif from is Google's image search.
