3D Studio R4 for MS-DOS

I have read some posts with the program 3D Studio r4 for MS-Dos. I would like to have a copy of the program, so if someone knows where can i get a legal copy of it I would be grateful.

I agree completely; having spent a lot of time on the old version, i never have really felt at ease on studio max. The interface on 3ds r4 is how i want it; simple, no fuss and doesn't confuse me.
I've now spent a couple of years searching for the program, but it is as if it vanished into thin air.
I hope somebody out there will be able to help me get back to my graphic roots
