I need some help with the caller id function on the nbx750.
I can only get 4 digits to appear on the dialed phone.
My phone company requires 10 digits within the caller id because of in-state 800 lines.
I can manipulate how many digits are dialed but no matter what i try I cannot get more that 4 digits of the caller id to come through.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

If you have a ISDN LIne you can using Pretranslator for cli , give me your internal extension and give me correct digit to transmit to local co .

bye

Thank you for responding.

Yes it is an ISDN PRI line.
We have a range of extensions but an example of an internal 4 digit which is also on of our DID numbers is 6000
I need to send (example 4062516000 ) in the cli.

Thanks for your time.

Here is a portion of outdial plan.

OK perfect you create new Pretranslator

PreTranslator Create 5 Cli Outogoing
/ PreTransId Entry Digits
/ ---------- ----- ------
PreTranslatorEntry Create 5 1 6

6 is the first digit your internal number plan ( 6000-6999)

create digit manipulation

PreTranslatorOperation Create 5 1 1 prepend 406251

in this case 6000 call cli is 4062516000 , 6002 call cli is 4062516002 and so on
or

PreTranslatorOperation Create 5 1 1 replace 406251600

in this case 6000 call cli is 4062516000 , 6002 call cli is 4062516000 and so on

PreTranslatorISDNNumberType 5 2

This is important request your carrier , example in USA is 0 = unknown , in Italy is 2 = National is according with carrier

nISDNNumberType types for ETSI are as follows: (0, default) unknown;
/ (1) international; (2) national; (3) network; (4) subscriber

Then in netset is particolary configuration , select pretranslator device using cli ( select pretranslator CLI OUTGOING ) and insert only isdn trunk .

bye
