I have a 3905 phone that has a DN 3143 on key 01.
When it rings it just beeps once.
Is it possible for it to ring regardless of whether the key 3100 is being used or not.
Thanks in advance,
You guys make Nortel products more bearable
Check to see if you have package 125 . If you do go to LD 15 (CDB) and change OPT SBD to SBA. Then turn on your FITA in your class of service on your phone. Good Luck.
Thanks alot Rudh.
Does changing the CDB (ftr_data) to DBA allowed me to then put the class of service to fita.
Does this affect how many rings the voice pick up in because it doesn't seem to go to voicemail anymore.
If you have input I would love to hear it.
thanks,
Wylie
The multiple ringing seems to work now with the cls set to fita but the voicemail does not pick up. Is there a setting I can change to get the voicemail to pick up or do I have to use the rngb CLS setting.
Thanks everyone,
Last Hunt Key (LHK) setting on the phone is set to 1. If it isn't change it to 1. If it does't work print out the phone (DNB) and put it on the forum. The forum will find out your problem for sure.
Thanks for replying
Here is the Phone that does not seem to go to voicemail anymore.
Note two dn but the voicemail is on the 3142 key01. Does it need to be on key 00???
A good habit to get into is printing a phone and capturing the data before you out and rebuild. You should look at another phone that is wortking correctly and look for differences. But to help, look at fdn setting, hunt setting and examine cls settings fnd versus fna, htd versus hta.
Thanks guys,
It was basically
setting FDN and HUNT set to 7000 (mail)
and I set cls settings FTA HTA FBA
Thanks agian everyone who responded .
These are tedius tasks that without this forum would be difficult.
Thanks
Wyles
Note need to change class of service CLS MWA before you put in the message key. Also did the last hunt key LHK be set for 1 so key 1 will go to the voicemail.
