I am being told that the M3904's (rls. 3)do not come standard with a full-duplex speakerphone and to upgrade them is around $100. Has anyone heard of this. I was under the impressio that all 04's are full duplex standard.

l don't know the user to your question but is it a firmware issue because l have had problems with phome directories on M3904 and l upgraded/downgraded the software and that cured that problem

There is an adapter for the M3904 u have to buy to get full duplex hands free calls. The adapter also need an external power supply. U cant get full duplex speaker calls without that adapter. Its not a firmware thing....

There is no Meridian set that has standard full duplex handsfree.

All the sets use the speaker as a mic.
