As far as I know, the firmware file for the Digital 390x series phones is part of the software load on the PBX. I don't recall ever uploading a different firmware file to the PBX.
Checking NTP's. If I find anything I will let you know.
PDT access, is a restricted level of access to the system that is generally only available to Engineer level personnel, and Nortel.
A load is a term used to identify the different software overlays that make up the user interface for the PBX.
Load (usually shortened to LD) 20 for instance is used to print information. LD 10 is used to program analog sets, LD 11 is used to program digital/IP sets, etc.
If you don't know what PDT is then you don't have access. Its not for everyone, and it doesn't make you a lesser tech to not have it or not know it.
You won't get the password here or on the internet, it can cause too much damage if you poke around without knowing what you are doing in PDT. Whoever got your patches for you should have access to load them.
I don't get why someone would want a 39xx firmware "above" the rls software they are on. As I upgrade software, I flash the enterprise. I can see jacking around with IP.
